Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting 9mm duty ammunition with 124-grain jacketed hollow-point bullets and .223-caliber long-rifle duty ammunition. Reloads are not acceptable; all ammunition must comply with SAAMI and law-enforcement standards, and offerors must identify the brand offered. The solicitation contemplates a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-quantity contract with a two-year ordering period. Estimated quantities are 130 cases of 9mm ammunition, with 1,000 rounds per case, and 100 cases of .223 ammunition, with 500 rounds per case, for each of two contract periods. Delivery is required within 60 days after receipt of order.
