Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting a quotation for one field-type bandage scissor, NSN 6515-01-598-9737. The required item is an extreme-duty, serrated, 7.5-inch stainless-steel scissor with molded plastic finger rings, heat sterilizability up to 272 degrees Fahrenheit, and the ability to cut heavy or multiple layers of cloth and zippered flight clothing. The item must be commercially packaged, marked in accordance with Medical Marking Standard No. 1, and delivered FOB destination within 20 days after award. The quotation must identify the proposed source and part number; alternate offers require a complete data package for evaluation. The item is FDA-regulated, and applicable registration, listing, labeling, and good manufacturing practice requirements apply.
