Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting continuous on-call Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner services to perform sexual assault forensic examinations and provide associated trauma-informed medical care. Examinations must follow Oregon Sexual Assault Task Force protocols and Oregon medical guidelines for sexual assault evaluation, with a guaranteed response time of no more than two hours after initial notification. The contractor must provide qualified, licensed, and appropriately trained SANEs; support forensic evidence collection, documentation, courtroom testimony preparation, and coordination with law enforcement; and ensure personnel are credentialed and privileged before performing services. The five-year BPA includes five ordering periods and may require service at the Portland VA Medical Center and the Vancouver, Washington campus. Pricing is requested for examinations with and without evidence collection, canceled dispatches, and program-development services.
