Description
The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Northwest Regional Office Forestry Program, intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to the Forest Biometrics Research Institute for an umbrella licensing agreement covering specialized software. The software will support comprehensive analyses used for forest management strategies, forest stewardship decisions, and harvest planning. This is a notice of intent rather than a request for competitive proposals. The agency states that the proposed source is uniquely qualified to provide the required natural-resources research, service, and continuing-education capabilities.
