The New Mexico Aging and Long-term Services Department is accepting applications from senior centers for capital outlay funding. Eligible purchases include capital equipment for congregate meal preparation; health, fitness, and wellness equipment; senior center furnishings such as tables and chairs; and recreation and activity equipment such as billiard and game tables. Requested equipment must be capitalizable, have a long-term useful character, and be owned and retained by the grantee. The application requires completion of the Meals & Equipment questionnaire and submission of a certification letter, ICIP document, scope of work and deliverables schedule, project budget and funding sources worksheet, applicable quotes or cost estimates, and an ongoing maintenance budget. Supporting documents are to be submitted as PDFs unless otherwise specified; the questionnaire uses a provided Excel response template.
