Description
Iredell County is soliciting proposals from a qualified golf course management firm to manage, operate, and maintain Twin Oaks Golf Course, an 18-hole, approximately 189-acre facility. The operator will be responsible for pro shop operations, starter and marshal services, food and beverage services, tournaments, instruction, special events, golf cart rentals, merchandise, landscape and hardscape maintenance, building and facility maintenance, fee collection, utilities, taxes, recordkeeping, financial reporting, and marketing. The operator must implement capital improvement projects and invest in the course at no cost to the County, provide a comprehensive operating and capital-cost breakdown, propose an annual lease payment and percentage of gross revenues to be paid to the County, and submit an implementation plan for assuming operational control. The initial contract term is five years with possible 12-month extensions based on performance. Proposals must include qualifications, a work plan, capital planning capacity, equipment list and maintenance schedule, references, complaints and termination history, required certifications, pricing, and a signed responder's declaration.
