Description
Middlesex County is soliciting primary and secondary contractors to provide miscellaneous plumbing repairs on an as-needed basis at County-owned offices, correctional and detention facilities, parks, buildings, highways facilities, and other listed locations. The contractor must furnish supervision, labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, permits, and related items necessary for complete repairs. Services must be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including emergency repairs, with an on-site response within four hours of a service call. Requirements include service documentation with before-and-after dated photographs, arrival and departure times, site sign-in and sign-out, verification of completed repairs, a one-year warranty on parts and labor, and approval for replacement-parts expenditures exceeding $750. Bidders must provide hourly journeyman labor rates for regular hours, after-hours, weekends and holidays, plus a replacement-parts markup percentage. The contract is intended to run for 24 consecutive months, with primary and secondary awards based on the lowest qualified hourly rates.
