Description
Middlesex County is soliciting a firm-fixed-price bid for the furnishing, delivery, and installation of two pre-engineered, break-away nylon ball safety netting systems or approved equals: one 25-foot BSS625 system and one 20-foot BSS420 system. Systems include straight aluminum poles, ground sleeves, perimeter-bound black nylon netting, hardware, cable systems, clips, caps, and installation instructions. The bidder must provide manufacturer and model information, and proposed equals must be identified with supporting information. The work includes delivery and installation at Joseph Medwick Park and Thomas Mundy Park. Installation must follow the manufacturer's written instructions and applicable standards, with foundations determined by others. The installer should have at least five ball safety netting system installations or similar experience within the previous three years. The contract is to commence five days after award and be completed continuously within 30 days of commencement. Bids are evaluated on the lowest total lump-sum amount, with all bid-sheet items required.
