Description
Hillsborough County Engineering and Operations Department requires a qualified contractor to provide sidewalk replacement and repairs estimated at $10,000,000. Work may include removal of existing sidewalks; construction, repair, replacement, and rehabilitation of concrete sidewalks and curb ramps; grinding and retrofitting sidewalks for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA); incidental irrigation and sprinkler repairs; necessary tree removal; temporary construction traffic control; and sodding and site restoration. A 9% Small Business Enterprise (SBE) participation goal has been established for subcontractors. The solicitation also requires submission of a bid bond, SBE subcontractor and material supplier information, SBE documentation and letters of intent, an affidavit concerning business with a foreign country of concern, an insurance certificate, a corporate resolution, and other specified bidder forms and acknowledgments.
