Description
Oglethorpe County is soliciting one fixed-price contract for a turnkey expansion of the irrigation system serving softball, utility, baseball, and mainline areas at its Recreation Department. The work includes labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, utility coordination, trenching, piping, irrigation components, electrical and control work, testing, programming, commissioning, restoration, cleanup, and closeout. The contractor must evaluate the existing pump and furnish and install a compatible pump-house tank and pressure-switch/control assembly. The scope also includes product data, sizing information, wiring diagrams, testing, record drawings, manuals, warranties, programming information, and test records. Completion is required within 30 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed, with a minimum one-year warranty after final acceptance. A mandatory walkthrough by appointment between October 13 and October 15, 2026, is required for bid eligibility. No bid, performance, or payment bond is required; insurance and other contract documents are required before contract execution and issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
