Description
The Massachusetts Maritime Academy is soliciting bids for the replacement of the upper lab roof at Bresnahan Hall in Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts. The project scope includes the complete removal and disposal of the existing ballasted built-up roofing assemblies and associated components down to the structural deck. A new 2-ply SBS modified bitumen roof assembly and all associated components will be installed as indicated on the drawings. Bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the category of Roofing and must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and a signed DCAMM Prime/General Contractor Update Statement. Filed sub-bidders must also be DCAMM certified for the specified trades (Masonry, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical Work) and submit the appropriate documentation. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 SS 44A-J and minimum wage rates. The estimated cost for the work is $921,000.00.
