Description
This Request for Bids (RFB) offers the opportunity to lease the historic Gowing-Clark House, located at 663 Lexington Road in Concord, Massachusetts, within Minute Man National Historical Park. The property, built in 1836, sits on nearly 2 acres and features approximately 2,656 sq. ft. of living area, including parlors, a kitchen with a historic fireplace, bedrooms, and a bathroom. The lease is suitable for low-impact, non-transient, single-family residential occupancy, requiring the lessee to maintain the historic appearance of the structure and grounds. The lease term will be a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years, with lessee termination rights available after the first year with 90 days' notice. The annual fair market value rent has been determined to be $40,800, payable in equal monthly installments of $3,400. The successful bidder will be the one submitting a responsive bid offering the highest monthly rent, subject to a determination of financial capability and a reference check. Bids must be submitted electronically as a single PDF file by July 17, 2026.
