Description
The City of Westover is soliciting construction bids for Park Pond Repairs, Project T20-11011.07. The work includes removing and replacing the existing pond riser and outlet pipe, capping the existing pond drain, dredging the pond area, and completing miscellaneous related items. The work must be substantially completed within 60 calendar days after the contract times commence and completed and ready for final payment within 75 days. Liquidated damages are $1,000 per day. Bidders must submit a certified check or bid bond payable to the City of Westover for 5% of the base bid, hold their bids for 90 days after opening, maintain a West Virginia contractor's license, and provide a Drug-Free Workplace Certification. A two-envelope submission system applies, with bid-opening compliance documents in Envelope No. 1 and the bid proposal in Envelope No. 2.
