Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Tucson VA Healthcare System, has a need for E14CL4B Biplane Endo Transducers and Reprocessing Trays. These transducers are used for visualization of internal organs of the rectum and vaginal areas, providing imaging for diagnostic and interventional procedures. The requirement is for a brand name or equal E14CL4B Biplane Endocavity Probe. The Urology Department requests high-tech ultrasound transducers with specific applications including Transrectal and Transvaginal, a frequency range of 14-4 MHz, a focal range of 3-60 mm, and various scanning modes such as B, M, PWD, CFM, THI, CEUS, and Strain Elastography. Compatibility with bkActiv, bkSpecto, bk3000, bk5000, and bkActiv S Series ultrasound systems is required. The image field specifications include Transverse: Sector 138 degrees (Expanded sector 178 degrees) and Sagittal: (Trapezoidal) 65 mm wide + expansion angle 2 x 15 degrees. This is a Sources Sought Synopsis for planning purposes only, not a solicitation. The VA is seeking information on potential qualified sources, including their business size classification. If sufficient Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) or Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) are identified, the solicitation may be set aside for them.
