Description
The U.S. Air Force is soliciting quotes for a firm-fixed-price contract for a C-130 Isochronal Stand System. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, set aside for Total Small Business. The solicitation requires a modular, pre-assembled, and field-tested stand system that provides safe and efficient access for maintenance operations on the C-130J aircraft. Key features include multi-level decks, hinged ramps, integrated fall protection, non-slip surfaces, aircraft bumper guards, and removable bridging elements. The system must also accommodate external fuel pods and refueling operations. The contract will include base line items and option line items for various stand components, including wing stands, propeller stands, stabilizer stands, cargo door stands, fuselage bridge stands, and aircraft entry platforms. The period of performance is 360 calendar days from the date of contract award. The place of performance is Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Tucson, AZ 85707.
