Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice / Request for Information (RFI) to identify potential sources capable of providing a Bobcat Skid Steer Loader, Model S64-2 T4 M0523 or equivalent. The equipment is needed to support grounds maintenance, material handling, and construction for the Tucson VA Medical Center Engineering Department. Key specifications for the skid steer loader include a diesel-powered engine with a minimum rated operating capacity of 1,800 lbs and an engine horsepower of no less than 61 HP. It must be four-wheel drive with a hydraulic transmission system. Specific requirements include an engine of at least 49.0 hp, a rated operating capacity of 1370 lb, auxiliary hydraulic flow of 16.7 gpm (high flow option of 26.7 gpm), and a two-speed option for travel up to 11.0 mph. The equipment must be new and in good working order, with an incoming inspection to be conducted by the mechanic shop and Ground Supervisor Darril Kilmer upon delivery. Delivery is expected within 30 days after contract award to 3601 South 6th Avenue, Tucson, AZ 85723, Bldg. 14 warehouse. Vendors are encouraged to provide information on their capabilities, size status, and ability to meet the salient characteristics, including whether the items are Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS). Responses are due by June 22, 2026.
