Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to procure an ophthalmic ultrasound system for the Washington D.C. VA Medical Center. This system will be used for comprehensive diagnostic imaging, including A-scan, B-scan, UBM, and standardized echography. The current system is aged and running on an unsupported operating system, necessitating a replacement to conduct ophthalmic diagnostics in the eye clinic. The procurement includes the ultrasound console with biometry, A-scan probes, DICOM software, clinical applications training, a height-adjustable cart with a keyboard tray, and a wireless footswitch. The system must feature high-resolution imaging capabilities for both anterior and posterior segments of the eye, with specific requirements for probe frequencies, axial and lateral resolution, depth of field, and framerate. It must also include built-in IOL formulas and post-operative refractive calculation capabilities. The contract will be a Firm-Fixed-Price contract, with delivery required within 90 days of award to the Washington D.C. VA Medical Center.
