Description
Stz'uminus First Nation is soliciting a contractor to construct a second potable water storage reservoir on Chemainus 13. The reservoir must have a minimum working volume of 993.52 m³ and match the top water level of the existing reservoir. The primary structure will be a glass-fused-to-steel tank on an elevated concrete pedestal. The work includes temporary erosion and sediment control, clearing and grubbing, utility connections to the existing water supply, water distribution, power and communications systems, earthworks, road and reservoir site improvements, and optional work. A bid bond or certified cheque equal to 10% of the tender price is required, along with a consent of surety confirming labour and material and performance bonds, each equal to 50% of the total tender sum. The estimated contract period is 10 months.
