Description
This Sources Sought announcement seeks qualified contractors for the analog-to-digital conversion of the Washington DC VA Medical Center's patient and public television distribution system. The work includes verification and field testing; headend and RF distribution reconfiguration; replacement of four existing patient-room displays and approximately 38 legacy P15X-series displays with interactive arm-mounted patient displays; installation of approximately 38 clear-QAM digital set-top converters; replacement of mounting arms; and installation of five RF distribution amplifiers and associated passives. The scope also includes extending cable service to Fisher House, installing CAT6 network drops for network-connected replacement displays, programming channel maps, testing RF and network performance, staff orientation, asset and disposition tracking, and closeout documentation. Proposed equipment must meet detailed healthcare, accessibility, infection-control, electrical, content-protection, and information-security requirements. Respondents must provide a tailored capability statement, company and business information, UEI, CAGE code, tax identification number, applicable Federal Supply Schedule contract number, and general pricing information. The notice is for market research only and does not request proposals or obligate the Government to award a contract.
