Description
Montgomery County’s Department of Transportation, Division of Transit, is soliciting services for routine washdowns, spot degreasing, full degreasing, and power washing at three Ride On bus depots. The work covers bus and employee parking lots totaling approximately 259,000 square feet, with seven spot-degreasing services and three full-degreasing services per year. The contractor must provide supervision, labor, equipment, hot-water low-pressure washing capable of 185–195°F, oil/grit separators, a mobile water-reclamation system, traffic-control equipment, debris removal, and compliant handling and disposal of wastewater, oil, grease, sludge, and other contaminants. The solicitation requires demonstrated experience with comparable bus-fleet or industrial facilities, including at least three comparable contracts completed within the past five years. Proposals are evaluated on experience, environmental compliance and water reclamation, technical approach, service-delivery plan, pricing, and participation programs. The opportunity is reserved for businesses that have submitted an application to, or are certified by, Montgomery County’s Local Small Business Reserve Program before the deadline.
