Description
Oswego County is seeking a contractor to locate and mark its underground telecommunications facilities. The network includes approximately 28 miles of county-owned underground facilities, with additional footage expected in 2026 or 2027. The contractor will perform office-clear requests, normal locate and site visits, after-hours callouts, additional footage increments, and project/design locates using the County’s designated ticketing systems or compatible processes. The contract has a three-year base term with two optional one-year renewals. The amended bid materials require unit pricing for the requested locating services, and the solicitation requires a 5% bid bond at bid opening; payment and performance bonds may be submitted after bid opening. The solicitation also requires the listed insurance coverages and qualification materials, including three similar projects completed within the past five years with reference contact information.
