Description
The City of Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency is soliciting an independent certified public accounting firm to provide external independent auditing services. The engagement begins with the audit of the CRA's financial statements for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026, which must be completed within the statutory deadline under Section 218.39, Florida Statutes, nine months after fiscal year end. The agreement covers three years and the fiscal years ending September 30, 2026, September 30, 2027, and September 30, 2028, with one option to extend for an additional two years through the fiscal year ending September 30, 2030. Audits must comply with generally accepted auditing standards, the U.S. Government Accountability Office's Government Auditing Standards (2018), applicable Florida statutes and Community Redevelopment Agency requirements, Chapter 10.550 of the Rules of the Auditor General, applicable American Institute of Certified Public Accountants guidance for audits of state and local government units, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations or professional guidance.
