Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs requires one brand-name Guldmann GH3+ ceiling patient lift system with a 770-pound lifting capacity, position locking, trainer module, integrated scale, hand control, straight 24-foot rail system, hanger bar, disposable gait-training slings, and related accessories. The contractor must provide delivery, turnkey installation, required mounts and bracing, electrical connection to existing outlets, testing and safety certification, evidence of testing, and on-site end-user training. The system must meet the stated technical requirements, including emergency stop and lowering functions, rail charging, wireless capability, overload protection, rehabilitation training functionality, applicable codes and standards, and VA seismic and patient-safety requirements. The contractor must be the OEM, an authorized dealer, distributor, or reseller, and installation personnel must be current authorized or certified Guldmann installers. Quotes must be all-or-nothing and include the required line-item pricing, shipping and delivery costs, company size and points of contact, technical capability information, and the completed VAAR 852.219-76 limitations-on-subcontracting certification. The requirement is restricted to certified SDVOSBs listed in the applicable SBA certification database at both quote submission and award.
