Description
The USDA Forest Service is soliciting a quotation for a supply-only contract covering the design and fabrication of steel materials for a 65-foot-long, 7-foot-wide pedestrian and stock bridge. The base requirement includes the steel girders, diaphragms, bearing plates, bearing pads, and associated steel parts for the bridge superstructure. The steel must be designed to meet applicable AASHTO requirements and fabricated at a certified steel fabrication plant in accordance with AISC standards. Timber decking, wood rails, bridge installation, and field welding are excluded and will be provided or performed by the Forest Service or others. Optional items include steel rail posts and rail attachment hardware, which may be awarded with the base items or added by contract modification within 90 days after purchase-order award. Delivery is FOB destination to the Komo Kulshan Bone Yard near Sedro Woolley, Washington. The required delivery date is no later than June 30, 2027. This is a firm-fixed-price, total small-business set-aside acquisition under NAICS 332312.
