The Virginia Department of Transportation is soliciting a small business to furnish, fabricate, and deliver structural steel in accordance with the attached steel material list. The materials will support replacement of the superstructure on Route 618 Structure #6129 over Hazel River in Rappahannock County. The solicitation identifies delivery to the VDOT Structure & Bridge Section and includes attachments for normal and emergency contacts, manufacturer and shipping-point information, the steel material list, a small-business subcontracting plan, and a State Corporation Commission form. The opportunity is an open invitation for bids with a submission deadline of September 15, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.
