Description
Pinellas County is establishing a cooperative, as-needed contract for fencing, automated gate operators, and pedestrian and bicycle handrails. The scope includes all required labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, transportation, disposal, installation, removal, repair, replacement, maintenance of traffic, and related services. Products include chain-link and vinyl fencing, gates, posts, rails, barbed and razor wire, gate operator equipment, and steel or aluminum handrails meeting the specified ASTM and Florida Department of Transportation standards. The contractor must provide job quotes within five days of standard requests and within 24 hours for emergency requests. Standard fencing repairs must be completed within two weeks of the purchase order, emergency temporary-fencing requests require a response within 24 hours and completion within 48 hours, and gate-operator repairs require an on-site response within 24 hours. The initial agreement term is 36 months, with two additional 12-month extensions available. Respondents must demonstrate three similar contracts completed within the past seven years and provide at least four similar professional references.
