Description
The federal government is seeking to procure Neonatologist and Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) services for the Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Mother Baby Unit, and Labor & Delivery Unit at Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune, NC. The contract will cover services for active-duty military dependents, eligible DoD civilian employee dependents, and other eligible beneficiaries. The scope of services includes providing continuous NNP coverage 24/7, with two 13-hour shifts per day. Neonatologist services will be provided through a combination of direct care shifts and on-call duties, with specific shift structures and on-call response times outlined. The contract also specifies requirements for personnel qualifications, including board certification for Neonatologists and specific certifications for NNPs, along with minimum experience requirements. All personnel must maintain unrestricted licenses and meet credentialing requirements prior to performance. The contract includes provisions for personnel qualifications, credentialing, orientation, and regulatory compliance, including health and immunization requirements. Telework is not permitted. Past performance and employee compensation will be key evaluation factors.
