Description
Pender County Schools (PCS) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide comprehensive library services. This includes developing an opening-day collection for J.H. Lea Elementary School, transitioning and updating the collection for J.H. Lea Middle School (formerly Topsail Middle School), and establishing a three-year contract for district-wide annual library book and materials purchasing, estimated at $150,000 annually. Services required encompass collection analysis, weeding, relabeling, boxing, moving, processing, cataloging with MARC records compatible with Follett Destiny, and providing new titles to refresh and strengthen collections. Vendors must demonstrate experience in K-12 school libraries, new school openings, large-scale purchasing, and responsive customer support. The annual purchasing component will support approximately 10,618 students across 19 schools and 17 media centers.
