This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), for overhead ceiling lifts. The Department of Veterans Affairs anticipates awarding one firm-fixed-price purchase order. The scope of work includes the design and installation of four fixed, ceiling-mounted patient lift systems in designated patient care rooms at the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center. These systems are intended to improve patient safety, reduce the risk of injuries during patient handling, and enhance staff safety by eliminating manual lifting. Each lift system must have a minimum lifting capacity of 550 lbs and include installation, setup, and staff training. The delivery and installation must be completed within 90 days from the date of award, with staff training completed within 15 days following installation and acceptance. This requirement is recommended as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339113 with a size standard of 800 employees. Quotes are due by 10:00 AM Central Time on June 25, 2026, and should be submitted electronically via email.
