Description
The City and Borough of Juneau seeks up to three contractors to provide fencing repair and installation services through a term contract. Work may include chain-link fence repair and new installation, adjustment or replacement of fence components and hardware, and removal and disposal of damaged or obsolete fencing. Contractors must provide site evaluations, written estimates, labor, materials, and equipment; individual project agreements will range from more than $2,000 to a maximum of $50,000. Work will be assigned on a rotational basis, subject to contractor availability, and may include scheduled, emergency, or non-business-hours work. Subcontracting is permitted with prior approval. Proposals must include the firm's experience and past projects, capacity to perform the work, hourly rates and equipment rates, materials and subcontractor markups, and a statement regarding required business and corporate licenses with license numbers. The solicitation requests at least three past project references, including project descriptions, dates, and contact information, and requires evidence of at least three years of work experience in Southeast Alaska. The initial contract term ends December 31, 2027, with up to three additional one-year renewals by mutual agreement.
