Description
This Sources Sought notice is market research, not a solicitation for proposals or quotations. The U.S. Coast Guard is identifying capable sources for a planned dry-dock availability for the USCGC John McCormick (WPC 1121). The contractor would provide the facilities, materials, equipment, and personnel needed for the work, which is anticipated to take 119 calendar days, from June 15 through October 12, 2027, subject to change. The anticipated work includes inspecting and repairing hull, propulsion, electrical, bilge, rudder, stabilizing-fin, bow-thruster, and other vessel systems; cleaning and preserving tanks, decks, the superstructure, and underwater surfaces; dry-docking; providing temporary services; and supporting sea-trial performance. Interested companies are asked to email company and business-size information, applicable certification documentation, a statement describing how they would perform the work and confirming intent to submit a proposal as prime contractor if solicited, and relevant past-performance information. The notice requests similar-project experience, including contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and points of contact.
