Description
The Fairbanks North Star Borough is soliciting bids for on-request annual maintenance of roads in the College Hills Service Area. Routine work includes snow and hardpack removal, roadway sanding, road blading and compaction, and machine or hand clearing. The contractor must plow snow and hardpack to the east side of the maintained portion of Dalton Trail. The bid also covers public construction work such as crushed aggregate grading, road reconditioning, and asphalt patching. The contract is for an initial fiscal-year period, with four optional one-year renewals. The bid requires a 5% bid guarantee; insurance, licenses, and any required performance documents are due from the successful bidder after award.
