Description
This Request for Information seeks industry feedback on a planned project to design and replace fire alarm systems across approximately 45 buildings. The anticipated system is wireless or hybrid wireless and addressable, with campus-wide radio-frequency coverage, supervisory monitoring integration, and specialty detection in hazardous fuel-system locations. Work is expected to include removal of existing equipment and wiring, design and preconstruction services, construction, cybersecurity compliance, training, testing, commissioning, and phased turnover. The anticipated delivery approach is Progressive Design-Build under Other Transaction Authority. The selected team would collaborate on design development, site investigations, RF coverage analysis, cost and schedule refinement, and the UFC waiver process before proposing a guaranteed maximum price or firm-fixed price for final design and construction. The Government may proceed with construction in phases if pricing and approvals are acceptable. This is market research only; no solicitation is currently available and no award is promised.
