Description
The library is seeking proposals for bundled internet access and data transport at multiple bandwidth levels from 50 Mbps to 5 Gbps. Fiber and non-fiber solutions are acceptable, and service may be symmetrical or asymmetrical. Bidders must specify download and upload speeds, transport technologies for the last and middle mile, contention ratio or dedicated-circuit status, data limits and usage charges, and any required leased equipment with make and model. Pricing must itemize recurring and one-time charges, installation and activation, equipment, surcharges, and usage-based fees, and provide enough detail to determine total cost. A one-year pricing option is mandatory; multi-year and month-to-month proposals are also considered. Responsive bidders must have a valid SPIN/498 ID and support discounted billing through the Service Provider Invoice method. Any resulting agreement is contingent on available state or federal funding and the library's ability to pay.
