Description
The contractor will provide on-call removal, recycling, and proper disposal of non-hazardous scrap and unserviceable equipment from the medical center and its supported facilities. The work includes supplying labor, vehicles, equipment, and transportation; responding to authorized pickup requests within 48 hours; and handling materials such as metals, plastics, wood, ceramics, glass, and mixed scrap. Hazardous materials, biomedical waste, liquids, gases, and data-bearing IT equipment are excluded. Recycling and disposal costs are included in per-pickup pricing, and the contractor must remit 100% of recycling proceeds to the Government, with supporting transaction records and required monthly and annual reports. The requirement is an indefinite-delivery, on-call contract with five one-year ordering periods and estimated pickup quantities. The quote must include administrative and technical volumes, the completed pricing workbook, and either three past-performance questionnaires or three client references. The solicitation also requires a communication and ordering plan, technical approach, quality-control plan, reporting and tracking plan, completed subcontracting compliance worksheet, and current insurance certificates.
