Kodiak Island Borough is establishing a roster of qualified contractors for future, as-needed maintenance, repair, emergency response, and small construction work involving auto repair and tire services, electrical services, and heating and plumbing services. Contractors may submit for multiple specialties, but must provide a separate quote package for each specialty. The Borough expects to award contracts to up to three responsive and responsible contractors within each applicable specialty. Inclusion on the roster does not guarantee work or compensation; assignments will be made through written work orders based on future needs. Each resulting contract has a not-to-exceed administrative limit of $50,000, with no guaranteed minimum. Pricing must include hourly labor rates, after-hours rates, materials markup, trip costs, and lodging and meals. Contractors must submit the required registration and pricing forms, applicable Alaska licenses and registrations, current insurance documentation, and authorized-representative contact information. The agreement is for a single year and must be completed by December 31, 2027; scheduled work generally requires a seven-business-day response, while on-call or emergency work requires a 24-hour response.
