Description
The project involves construction improvements to Lift Station 1, including installing an additional pump and bypass pumping ports on the force mains, replacing air-release valves, and making HVAC and flooring improvements in the maintenance facility. The work also includes associated labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees. The engineer’s estimate is $900,000, and the work must be physically complete within 110 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. Bids must use the form provided with the bid documents and include a certified check, postal money order, cashier’s check, or proposal bond payable to the district for at least 5% of the total proposal amount. The project is subject to Washington State prevailing wage rates, and contractors must be licensed in Washington. A prebid conference is scheduled, but participation is encouraged rather than required.
