Description
The City seeks a single architect-led consulting team to serve as Architect of Record and coordinate architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and low-voltage/technology disciplines for renovations to portions of a civic building’s Level 01, including council chambers and offices, conference rooms, controlled entry points, a service counter, egress improvements, and the YPAC area. The scope includes existing-conditions assessment, schematic design, design development, construction documents, permitting and bidding support, and construction administration through closeout. Construction administration includes regular site visits, review of submittals and RFIs, payment application certification, meetings, change-order review, inspections, punch-list management, and record drawing markups. The Statement of Qualifications must include a cover letter, firm qualifications and project examples, project team information and resumes, project approach, and a proposed schedule. Responses are limited to 20 pages excluding forms and appendices, with a minimum 10-point font. The City will evaluate qualifications and demonstrated competence, including relevant experience, team qualifications, approach, schedule, references, and local/regional familiarity, then negotiate fees with the highest-ranked firm. The selected firm will execute the City’s standard Professional Services Agreement.
