Description
The Kittitas Reclamation District is soliciting sealed bids for construction of water-conservation and operational improvements along approximately 2,700 feet of the existing South Branch Canal, from Milepost 13.6 to the Manastash Siphon. Work includes replacing open-channel canal sections with large-diameter pipeline, roadway improvements, drainage, earthwork, and related work in accordance with the project plans, provisions, and specifications. The project is supported by Washington Climate Commitment Act funding. Bids are due November 2, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. local time. A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for October 19, 2026; bidders unable to attend may independently arrange a site visit before submitting a bid. The notice estimates total bonding capacity for the project at $2.2 million to $2.8 million; it does not specify a required bid, payment, or performance bond amount.
