Description
Marinette County is seeking a single-prime contractor to replace the existing ballasted EPDM roofing system at its Law Enforcement Center. The work includes removing stone ballast, EPDM membrane, perimeter metal, and specified insulation; installing polyisocyanurate insulation, tapered saddles, sumps, a ballasted-in-place 60-mil TPO membrane, adhered TPO flashings, new sheet-metal edge systems, copings, counterflashings, drains, and related roof accessories. The base bid covers roofs 1–3, with additive alternates for roofs 4–9, roofs 1A/1B/5A/5B, and joint-sealant rehabilitation with elastomeric wall coating. The contractor must coordinate occupied-facility operations, maintain watertight conditions, provide required permits, and complete major roof work before July 2, 2027. A 20-year Tremco roof-system warranty with periodic inspections and full leak coverage, plus a two-year contractor workmanship warranty, is required. The bid package must include the completed Bid Tabulation Sheet, Statement of Understanding of Bid, and any issued addendum sheet; two copies are required. The contract may not be assigned, transferred, or subcontracted without Marinette County’s written consent.
