Description
The University of Wisconsin–Madison is soliciting bids for one educational wind tunnel to support its Engineering Mechanics and Aerospace Engineering 422 Aerodynamics Laboratory course. The required unit must have a test section of at least 12 by 12 inches, an approximate velocity range of 10–60 m/s, a sting balance for aerodynamic load measurements, mean pressure coefficient capability, and turbulence intensity below 2%. The equipment must match the existing wind tunnel used in the same class or laboratory. The purchase includes delivery, installation, setup, commissioning, operating and maintenance manuals, and training or instruction if requested. Bidders must provide detailed technical specifications, warranty and service information, NRTL certification information, delivery timing, country of origin and shipping details, and pricing for consumables, optional equipment, upgrades, and add-ons. The bidder must be the original manufacturer or an authorized distributor or dealer with service and repair capabilities.
