Description
The City of Jamestown Department of Development is soliciting sealed bids for Phase 1 of the Chadakoin River Activation Project, covering the South Basin and Panzarella Point. The construction scope includes a beach launch, floating accessible kayak launch, water safety barrier, dock and wharf improvements, a permeable-paver parking area, pavilion, asphalt and concrete walkways, lighting, signage, site furniture, and landscaping. The project requires a bid bond equal to 10% of the total bid price. Work must be performed at New York State prevailing-wage rates, and the successful bidder must document participation by New York State-certified Minority- and Woman-Owned Business subcontractors and suppliers toward the combined 54% M/WBE goal. Bids must be submitted on the provided contract forms by hard copy or through the specified electronic bidding platform.
