Internal Audit Services for Chautauqua County

Description
Chautauqua County is soliciting proposals for an internal audit function as required by its County Charter. The scope includes bank account reconciliation, credit card use analysis, risk assessment of county operations, testing and evaluation of internal controls, annual review and update of risk assessments, and preparation of reports analyzing significant findings and recommending improvements. The audit function may be fulfilled by county personnel, intermunicipal cooperation, or independent contractors, and must report to the Audit and Control Committee of the County Legislature and the chief fiscal officer. The contract structure is not specified, but the requirement is ongoing.
