Description
Chautauqua County is seeking multiple commercial hotels and motels to provide temporary housing for individuals and families when no other suitable public or private housing is available. The County currently needs approximately 14 rooms countywide, although demand changes daily, and providers may serve families, single adults, and childless couples. Awards will not be exclusive, and proposals will be reviewed and evaluated upon receipt through the continuous rolling recruitment period. Addenda clarify that providers should offer a confidential interview room accommodating at least four people, preferably with a table and chairs, and space for two to three simultaneous confidential interviews. Initial inspections must occur within five business days of a placement, with additional inspections every six months and upon complaints. Rates must be submitted annually, may increase by up to 3%, and the average current reimbursement is approximately $90 per room per night. The contract start date may be negotiated before contract processing, and site control should be finalized before submitting a proposal. Proposers must acknowledge Addendum No. 2 and Addendum No. 3 by signing and returning them with the bid.
