Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting quarterly preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, routine and emergency service calls, and repairs for Mitsubishi, Greenheck, and LG HVAC equipment at the Erie VA Medical Center. Covered equipment includes VRF condensers and fan coil units, make-up air units, energy recovery units, split-system air-conditioning units, and related exhaust fans. The contractor must provide management, qualified technicians, labor, tools, equipment, materials, transportation, supervision, licenses, permits, and incidentals. Routine service calls require a technician on site within 24 hours, while emergency calls require response and commencement of work within four hours. The resulting contract will be a five-year firm-fixed-price indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract, with a base period from September 29, 2026, through September 28, 2031. Excluded repairs may be ordered separately after approval. Quoters must provide evidence of EPA 608 Type II or Universal certification, confirm journeyman-level HVAC credentials and authorization to service the specified brands, comply with applicable OSHA, EPA, NFPA, ASHRAE, and VA requirements, and complete the required subcontracting-limitations certification. The opportunity is restricted to certified service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses.
