Description
The project involves three phased additions and renovations to an existing school facility. Additions include expanding the cafeteria, constructing restroom facilities, and creating a dedicated activities entrance. Renovations include converting the existing swimming pool area into a wrestling room and Industrial Technology classrooms, and converting existing Industrial Technology classrooms into additional classroom space. Work also includes HVAC replacements and modifications, dust collection and welding exhaust systems, plumbing extensions, electrical and fire alarm upgrades, telecommunications and fiber-optic relocation, and site improvements. Site work includes utility modifications, converting tennis courts into a parking lot, pavement restoration, and landscaping. A single general-contractor bid is sought for the work, including all subcontractor trades. The anticipated project cost is under $7.2 million.
