Description
The Authority of the Borough of Charleroi is soliciting bids for the 2027 supply of water and sewage treatment chemicals, including approximately 150 tons of liquid polyaluminum chloride, 5 tons of potassium permanganate, 30 wet tons of liquid sodium hydroxide, 12 tons of liquid chlorine in one-ton containers, sodium hypochlorite in bulk, tote, and drum deliveries, and 15,000 pounds of food-grade citric acid. The solicitation also includes liquid ortho/polyphosphate blend as required. Bidders may bid on any or all items, with awards generally based on individual unit prices. Products must meet specified AWWA and NSF Standard 60 requirements where stated, and several items require product analyses, specification sheets, NSF certification, references, or performance demonstrations. The ortho/polyphosphate item additionally requires dosage and treatment-cost calculations, product and data sheets, performance references, and ongoing application support and water-quality monitoring. Deliveries will be made to the Authority's water or sewage treatment facilities during the 2027 contract period.
