Description
Longwood University is soliciting sealed bids for the lump-sum construction replacement of rooftop AHU-2 at Chichester Hall. The base bid includes demolition and replacement of AHU-2 and its associated systems in accordance with the plans and specifications. Additive bid items cover testing, adjusting, and balancing exhaust and supply airflows, as well as providing an energy valve for the AHU-2 chilled-water coil and integrating that valve into the building automation system. The project requires a bid bond, Virginia contractor registration and licensing, electronic submission through eVA, and completion of the required bid and SWaM forms. Substantial completion is required within 240 consecutive calendar days after commencement, followed by final completion within 30 consecutive calendar days.
