Description
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs National Acquisition Center is procuring FDA-approved, latex- and preservative-free influenza virus vaccines for the 2027–2028 season. The requirement covers pre-filled, single-dose syringes with plungers and Luer lock needle attachments, packaged in boxes of 10, including vaccines for persons 36 months and older, vaccines specifically approved for persons 65 years and older, and pediatric split-virus vaccines labeled for children 6 through 35 months. Products must be trivalent or quadrivalent according to World Health Organization recommendations; when both presentations are recommended and commercially available, the trivalent presentation is required. Each offered product must have a unique 11-digit National Drug Code, FDA approval, compliant bar coding, and an expiration date no earlier than May 31, 2028. Offerors may bid on individual line items but must offer the full quantity for each line item offered, and all line items within a single presentation must have the same unit price. Estimated quantities total 276,559 boxes across nine line items, although quantities for line items 1–7 are estimates without a purchase guarantee. The procurement includes firm-fixed-price requirements contracts for line items 1–7 and firm-fixed-price definite-quantity contracts for line items 8–9. Distributor-offerors must submit a manufacturer Letter of Commitment. Proposals must include pricing inclusive of the 0.5% Cost Recovery Fee and Federal Excise Tax, a current wholesale/commercial pricelist, proposed ordering procedures, applicable country-of-origin and trade-agreements information, and other required representations and certifications.
