Description
The Village of Deerfield Department of Public Works and Engineering is seeking Statements of Qualifications from firms capable of providing comprehensive landscape maintenance, seasonal planting, turf care, and related horticultural services at Village-owned properties and public spaces. The scope includes landscape design, installation, maintenance, and removal of seasonal plant material; mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, weeding, fertilizing, watering, mulching, deadheading, seasonal cleanup, weed control, plant replacement, landscape restoration, and monitoring of plant health and irrigation issues. Services will cover municipal facilities and public areas including Village Hall, the Police Department, the Deerfield train station, downtown streetscapes, parking areas, medians, entrance features, planters, urns, tree grates, and planting beds. The selected firm must provide labor, supervision, equipment, transportation, watering equipment, and horticultural expertise; coordinate with Village staff and other vendors; and order, transport, install, maintain, remove, and dispose of seasonal plant material supplied through the Village's separate contract. Respondents must demonstrate comparable experience, qualified personnel, staffing and operational capacity, applicable pesticide and herbicide licenses or certifications, quality-control procedures, responsiveness, and satisfactory past performance. Statements of Qualifications are limited to 50 pages, and the Village may conduct interviews before negotiating the final scope and compensation.
